Bf109D3
CFS2 Messerschmitt Bf 109 D, by Corrado La Posta.
The Messerschmitt 109 was the most important german fighter of WWII totalling over 30,000 built. This D model was operated by 10.(N)/JG26 in december 1939. Full moving parts, wonderful panel, virtual cockpit, and detailed beyond description.
This is another breath-taking aircraft by the same author of the exceptional Fiat Cr.32
Note:
Special feature of this plane is the complete internal structure. Note the Jumo 210 engine (modeled from an original photograph). Shift+H activates transparent mode. Shift+C shows/hides canopy; this models the removal of the canopy, due to glaring problems, in the nightfighter units.
Four MG 17, 2 nose, 2 wings; some had experimentally a 20 mm cannon in the nose.
Historically accurate panel by Michael Vader. It uses some special gauges you will find in GAUGES folder; copy the content (*.gau files) in your CFS2 GAUGES folder. Sound not included, aliased to P38.
